Privacy policy

Last updated 5 July 2026. In short: this website sets no cookies, runs no cross-site tracking, and collects no personal data.

What this policy covers

This policy is about this website only. The IoTSentinel software itself runs on your own Raspberry Pi and keeps your network data on your device. This site does not see, receive, or process anything from your home network.

What we collect

Aggregate, privacy-friendly analytics through Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights: anonymous page views and page performance metrics. These are used only to understand which pages are useful and whether the site is fast.

What we do not collect

No cookies are set. There is no cross-site tracking, no advertising, no fingerprinting, and no accounts. We do not collect your name, email, or any information that identifies you personally.

The product versus this website

IoTSentinel processes your network data entirely on your Raspberry Pi. Nothing about your traffic is sent to us or to any cloud, unless you deliberately enable a cloud AI provider inside the product, in which case that provider's own terms apply and a one-toggle privacy mode can keep everything local instead.

Third parties

The site is hosted on Vercel, so Vercel processes standard request logs as part of serving pages. The source code and releases live on GitHub. Following links to those services is subject to their own privacy policies.
